These images, taken beside an Industrial estate in West Dublin, come from a series based on the land bordering Irelands canals.
These half forgotten eviroments appear at first sight to great relevance or value. They fit quietly in between the places where we work, sleep, spend money and rush around.
John's images show nature tolerating traces of our existance in this parallel world, but suggest that ultimatly it has the calm power to endure anything we do.
