ARTS ADMINISTRATION

This course is designed to prepare students for working creatively with artists and art establishments. The programme is designed to provide the opportunity for participants to develop the necessary skills to work as arts administrators in the visual arts, performing arts, museums and the heritage business. Students will learn how to design and install exhibitions and how to care for art works. Through instruction and practical projects, students develop an understanding of the arts and leam the necessary skills required for working in this field.

Entry Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or its equivalent,
  • FETAC level 5, or previous relevant experience.
  • Interview. IT skills particularly would be an advantage.
